On January 5, 2024, a fire broke out inside Siam Proplate Company, located in the Bangpoo Industrial Estate, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan Province. The fire started inside the company, which was a single-story warehouse. Firefighters had to mobilize more than 15 fire engines and disaster relief officers from nearby areas to contain the fire.
